She wanted it replaced with something that had a red/burgundy theme. Immediately what comes to mind is red wine, so we worked together to come up with this still life image. We purchased the items today, and then I spent quite a while shooting it. I tried it on a black background, and this white one. I tried all kinds of combinations, but in the end, this is the one that fit the image of what she wanted, so this is my choice for today&#8217;s picture and also the image I will be getting printed for her for our kitchen.</p>

It is the Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8L USM. I bought this lens to replace the 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 lens I sold to my father-in-law. I also now have the 24-200mm range covered. All with &#8220;L&#8221; glass, and all with fast F2.8 glass. This will be important for shooting weddings as well as portrait work. I am really excited to start shooting with the lens.
