I just got my new lens from Amazon. It is the Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8L USM. I bought this lens to replace the 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 lens I sold to my father-in-law. I also now have the 24-200mm range covered. All with “L” glass, and all with fast F2.8 glass. This will be important for shooting weddings as well as portrait work. I am really excited to start shooting with the lens. I will post samples when I can get shooting.

I got a new lens today. I finally was able to get the much sought after Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM lens. This is the one that pretty much anyone who is a pro portrait or wedding photographer uses. It is one of Canon’s sharpest and nicest lenses. It is truly a professional level lens. I have taken a few shots with it today, but I intend to do more of a test this weekend. I was just so excited to get it today, I had to share.
